explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the
PawDoc mobile application and website at pawdoc.site. Please read this policy carefully.
By using PawDoc, you agree to the practices described herein.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Email address — when you sign up for early access or create an account
- Pet profiles — name, species, breed, age, weight, medical history notes
- Symptom descriptions — text you enter when using the triage feature
- Reminder data — appointment dates and health event records you create
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information — device type, operating system, app version
- Usage data — features used, session duration, in-app actions
- Log data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date of access
- Crash reports — error logs to help us improve app stability
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Formspree — processes early access email submissions on our behalf
- Affiliate partners — may share conversion or click data with us when you interact with affiliate links
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the PawDoc application
- Provide AI-powered pet health guidance and triage responses
- Send you a launch notification if you joined the early access list (one email, no ongoing marketing without consent)
- Send account-related notifications (app updates, critical health reminders you configure)
- Analyze usage patterns to improve features and user experience
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
- Process affiliate transactions and track referrals
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your pet health data for advertising profiling.

- Contractual necessity — to provide you the PawDoc service

4. Affiliate Disclosure
PawDoc uses affiliate partnerships to support the free service. When you click on a recommended
product, service, or telehealth provider through PawDoc, we may earn a commission at no additional
cost to you. We only recommend services we believe are relevant to your pet's health. Affiliate
relationships do not influence the AI guidance you receive.
Affiliate partners may include: veterinary telehealth platforms, pet health product retailers, pet insurance providers, and pet nutrition brands.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
- Service providers — Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Formspree (email form processing), AI model providers for triage processing
- Affiliate networks — anonymized click/conversion data only, no personally identifiable information
- Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (users will be notified)
All service providers are contractually required to process your data only for the purposes we specify and to maintain appropriate security standards.
6. Data Retention
- Early access emails — retained until launch notification is sent, then deleted within 90 days unless you create an account
- Account data — retained for the life of your account plus 30 days after deletion
- Triage session data — retained for 12 months to support follow-up guidance, then anonymized
- Log data — retained for 90 days

The PawDoc mobile app does not use cookies. We use anonymized analytics to understand feature usage.
9. Children's Privacy
PawDoc is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal
information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with
personal information, please contact us immediately at

10. International Data Transfers
PawDoc is operated from the United States. If you are located outside the US, your information
may be transferred to and processed in the US or other countries. For EEA users, such transfers
are made under Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards as required by GDPR.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS),
encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of
transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique
password and to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

PawDoc may contain links to third-party websites, affiliate partners, or veterinary services.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites. We encourage you to review
their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material
changes via email or in-app notification. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page
indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of PawDoc after changes are posted
